Founded in 2011, Nemetau Resources which means “To leave a trace” is a partnership with the company Mishkau Construction from the community of Maliotenam (Innus) in the Côte-Nord region.
Nemetau Resources promotes human and material resources within the community through the development of specialized and large-scale projects where the use of Innu labor is emphasized.

Projects
Nemetau Resources has participated in numerous projects in Innu territory north of the two communities of Uashat and Maliotenam over the past few years. Among other things, for deforestation and brush clearing contracts on behalf of Hydro Quebec, several mining companies have received mechanized deforestation services for their drilling trails and tree chipping. We have also carried out major civil works for the construction of dikes with the collaboration of partners. All of theses works were performed with the involvement of local Innu workers.
Nemetau Ressources professional services department, which includes forest engineers, biologists and civil engineers, have realized intervention permit mandates for mining companies as well as
environmental characterization studies.
